If you listen closely as you pass the ELU classroom in the halls, the sound of focused discussions seeps through the cracked-open door. English Language Usage (ELU) is used to support students with academic English. The main motivation behind the driven pupils is Mrs. Kim, the new ELU teacher. The Jets Flyover decided to find out more as to who she is beyond the classroom.

A restless hero for injured kids at work, a caring mom for a little daughter at home: ten doppelgangers are not even close to being enough for Nurse Becky to carry out all her tasks she faces day-to-day. Her daily routines are greatly overwhelmed by her work for ensuring safety on campus – especially during the era of a global pandemic.

Some teachers choose their career paths early in life, and get into the profession fresh out of university, while others find their calling later in adulthood. Ms. Ni Thuathail represents the latter; she used to work as a scientist in a laboratory, and now she teaches DIS students to do the same. The Jets Flyover decided to find out more about what inspired the professional switch, and her big move halfway around the globe.
