About the Contributors
Sahn Choi, Broadcast Journalist
Sahn Choi, a sophomore at Daegu International School, produces videos for the Jet Stream. He loves to listen and play music – so much so – that he hopes to incorporate music into the topics he covers this year. Outside of the Jet Stream, Sahn plays centerfield on a local Daegu baseball team. He also beats the drums in the DIS rock band, Mach 10.
Olya Karpenko, Social Media Manager and Photographer
Olya Karpenko starts her second year with the Jets Flyover. In her junior year, she contributed as an illustrator, but now she expands her skills to take on the role of social media manager. Through a strong passion for art, design, photography, and editing, Olya brings a creative eye to every project she takes on. Outside of school, she enjoys music, TV, and of course, catching up on sleep.
Agnew Kim, Writer and Photographer
Agnew Kim steps in with both pen and camera in hand in her sophomore year. Her sharp eye captures details and raw moments that melt within her stories. With a persistent effort, she takes leadership positions in the National Art Honor Society and the Yang-ro-Won Photo Service Club. Outside the newsroom, you might see her nose-deep in novels and classic literature or filling concrete walls with a spectrum of colors.
