Small Delegation Brings Big Surprises

DIS competed at the first offline Global Education City Model United Nations IX (GECMUN IX) conference in three years. Despite our small team, with only 8 students, Matthew and Tommy won the Outstanding Delegate Award, Apple and Colin received Verbal Commendation, and all members brought home the Outstanding Small Delegation award.

Model United Nations Team Sets a High Bar at Kwangju Foreign School

“I officially declare that the 2022 SKAC Model United Nations Conference is open!” announced the Secretary-General, Ricky. With the strike of the gabble, competitive delegates started to pass resolutions that targeted global issues. Kwangju Foreign School hosted the SKAC MUN (South Korean Activities Committee Model United Nations) on December 10th. Eleven officers and over ninety delegates from six international schools were in session, with DIS having the most participants.
