The fine arts department topped 2023 off with the middle and high school Winter Fine Arts Festival in the Jetnasium on December 14th. Holiday decorations and intricate artworks adorned the gym, and the concert band played 12 songs. At the lively, spectator-packed venue, the audience took pictures, wrote comments for artists who showcased their semester’s work, and immersed themselves in the music. Near the end of the night, all grade levels came together as a Megaband for a joint performance of “Zig Zag.”

Jets and guests alike partied at the first-ever DIS Community Festa on April 28th to celebrate a fruitful year. Booths and food trucks brought flavor and fun to the event, while musicians and performers took over the futsal fields and basketball court.
