Baseball season sprung into full swing at the Lions Park this spring. High school supporters went down together for the Samsung Lions vs. Kiwoom Heroes game on April 4. Hosted by the High School Student Council (HSSC), the event brought baseball fans of all kinds from seniors to freshmen gathered all together after school to strike away academic stress and worries. 
After a steal, Juan Cortez (number 19) goes for a fast break and pushes towards the basket. HIS defender hustles back and attempts a hard block. Juan manages to shoulder the opponent and go up for a strong layup.

The Jets high school boys’ basketball team visited the Gyeongnam Samcheonpo gym for the SKAC Finals hosted by Gyeongnam International Foreign School (GIFS) on Feb. 28. Seven varsity and JV teams crashed down for an intense day of competition: DIS, GIFS, Busan Foreign School (BFS), International School of Busan (ISB), Handong International School (HIS), Atherton International School (AIS), and Global Prodigy Academy (GPA).

Korean elders often berate Gen Zers about their overzealous K-pop culture, headphones plugged in at work, and a nonstop cascade of TikTok trends. Over the past few decades, the nation experienced a massive shift in wealth and development, and this continuous change accentuates the gap between the younger and middle-aged population. Experienced employees complain that new hires lack discipline and respect for veterans, and adults frown upon students in rolled-up skirts, eyes fixated on screens.
