Middle school students gathered in the Jetnasium for the annual Spring Party on April 17. The event featured a variety of stations, including kickball, board games, volleyball, dodgeball, Mafia and Liar Game, ping pong, air hockey, Kahoot, and spelling bee. As the activities unfolded, laughter echoed across the school as students moved from station to station, turning the afternoon into a vibrant celebration with full school spirit.
Seventh grader Miles Long lunges forward and fires a dodgeball across the court, aiming to strike an opponent out into jail. He bursts into laughter as he rides the momentum of the game.

This party was really fun as we got to play different types of sports with our friends. The last egg cracking was really fun in the rain. The pool with the volleyball was the best.

I really enjoyed this year’s spring party!! It felt refreshing to try new board games and sports, and I loved having the chance to do things I don’t usually experience at school. I especially enjoyed the mafia game we played in the yoga room. It was exciting, a bit intense, and really fun to play together with everyone. Even though this will be my last party in middle school, it has made me appreciate these moments even more. I’m really glad I got to be part of it and spend time with my friends in such a fun and relaxed way. Hope this tradition continues next year so that other middle schoolers can enjoy it just as much as I did, and have an amazing time together.

I think this year’s spring party we (MSSC) hosted was successful even though we had to change plans due to the sudden weather change. We tried to make the event fun for the students even if they can’t participate in outdoor activities. Thank you Mrs. Jolly and Dr. Willette for making these kinds of events possible!
GO JETS!
