Thank you for tuning into today’s Jet Stream. Dylan and Juan are back to host again. We take you to the Elementary Volleyball Cup and the Rummikub Tournament.

DIS hosted the Elementary Volleyball Cup in March. Parents, teachers, and students all participated in this event to end the season on a high note. Dylan and June dive deeper into the event.

Buckle down as Raina, Luna, and Serena take you through the Rummikub competition that was held in the Jetnasium this past March. Students, teachers, and parents from all around the community gathered for the test of luck and strategy.

Juan Cortez, an opinionated senior, loves to sing, play sports, and just simply entertain people. His favorite subject is music. As an accomplished athlete, Juan particularly enjoys volleyball season. Quite evidently, sports spike Juan’s interests. Many people informed him that he displays himself as an affable person, so he wants to share his personality on the Jet Stream. Additionally, Juan specializes in Mexican cuisine, due to the fact that he finds comfort in the Mexican side of his family.

Dylan Wang declares himself as a Renaissance man. His interests vary from music to sports, and he participates in varieties of extracurricular activities such as Rock Band, MUN, and Student Council. For this reason, he writes in many different styles about many different topics, from features to opinion pieces. Through this process, he attained several useful strategies and tips, and now he helps others learn to write like a pro. As Managing Editor of the Jets Flyover, Dylan hopes to help new staff writers grow as he ends his DIS journey.
