The Illusion Dance Club waves to their fans after an exhilarating performance.

Students, parents, faculty, and staff congregated in the Jetnasium for two assemblies held just before the winter break. On Dec. 8, elementary schoolers gathered in the morning, and secondary students took their turn later in the afternoon. Emcees Juniors Jessica Woo and Sunny Oh guided the audiences throughout the recitals.

The event showcased the achievements of scholars throughout the first semester with awards endowed to recipients. The Drama Club, Rock Bands, Dance Teams, and Girl Scouts provided the icing on the cake with appealing performances.

The assemblies commemorated a successful start to the 2023-2024 school year. The facilitators, such as performers, emcees, and stage managers, organized from weeks before to prepare for the big day. Their efforts led to a huge success. The DIS community came together to demonstrate school spirit, and the Jets aspire to continue their arduous journey into the remainder of the school year.
