With projects to turn in, tests to mark, and all the responsibilities that surround the lives of kids and adults at DIS, sometimes we neglect our sleep. That inevitably leads to exhaustion. We end up stressed and lose focus in the classroom. So how are we catching up on our Z’s? Do we get enough rest on school nights? DIS students and teachers spill the tea on their bedtime habits and reflect on school start times.
Overall, the responses show that sometimes people get less sleep than recommended on a typical school night, especially during periods of heavy workload and exams. But some teachers and younger students reported a healthier sleep schedule. Although opinions vary, like how school should start later, it is clear that some people struggle due to a lack of sleep.
