TEDx breaks boundaries this March

TEDx made its name as a worldwide speech event in which faculty and students come together to share diverse ideas and thoughts. Modeled after the original TED Talks, these prestigious gatherings bring honor to any campus that earns the privilege to host. 
DIS switches things up for the 23-24 academic year and shifts the Talent Show, originally an end-of-year custom, to the middle of the first trimester.

Talent Show shifts to first semester

The High School Student Council (HSSC) made a bold decision to move this year’s Talent Show from March to November. This marks an unprecedented change to DIS history, for all previous talent shows normally took place in spring. With the dates shifted, various aspects of the execution process also changed. The auditions, for example, will be held on an earlier date. An exchange of opinions between parents and the administration led to the move.
