An unexpected snowfall marked the start of the week on Feb. 2, as the first snow of the season covered the campus in white. Coinciding with a scheduled early release, students from several grade levels spent time outdoors and enjoyed the rare snowfall. Teachers, students and faculty took part in snowball fights, snowman building and informal gatherings across campus. The snowfall briefly altered the school’s routine and atmosphere, turning the campus into a winter setting for a day of social gathering.
Senior couple Chloe Cho and Brandon Hyun crouch down to feel the season’s first snowfall in Daegu, laughing as flakes melt in their hands. They soak up one of their last cozy winter moments together on campus before graduation.

It was really good to enjoy the snow outside on Monday with our friends! We know that Daegu doesn’t snow very often, so the moment was really valuable for us. We didn’t get to make a snowman, but we still did some snow fighting. We hope it snows again soon! 🙂

I really had so much fun in the snow! It was really fun to play with friends at school, and also with my family even though it was only one day. I had a really fun snow fight at school too. I hope that snow falls in Daegu again soon or next year!
