Elementary students gathered in Mrs. Nunes’s room on Dec. 8 for the Elementary Science Enrichment Program hosted by Chemistry in Action (CIA). Through interactive experiments,
such as the lemon volcano demonstrating chemical reactions and rubber balls introducing basic polymer concepts, youngsters engaged in science beyond classroom lectures. With continuous trials, young scientists deepened their curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific discoveries.
Junior Jack Lee observes a young scientist as she fills her reflection sheet with colors and sketches. After she records the experiment’s observations, she reflects on the results through creative expression upon guidance.
