Middle school students traveled to the Suseong Ice Skating Rink for a winter party after school on Jan 16. Hosted by the Middle School Student Council (MSSC), students enjoyed a day of skating through an icy evening with their friends.
With plenty of pizza, chicken, and drinks to enjoy, both novice and experienced skaters shared the rink and helped each other build lasting memories. “MSSC thinks it’s a nice way to bond. I think that you’re kind of all in one space together. So it’s fun. I just like watching the students have fun with their friends,” said Mrs. Jolly, student council coordinator.
Mrs. Jolly, along with several teacher and parent chaperones, helped supervise the event, ensuring that all students stayed safe on the ice. “Thank you to everyone who came to the event, and thank you to the parents who obviously helped out. And also, Mr. Jolly and Ms. Nagy were also chaperones, so that was much appreciated,” said Mrs. Jolly.
As the party wound down, skates came off, and friends said their goodbyes, attendees were reluctant to end the fun. Gia Kim in eighth grade said, “The food was really good too and I didn’t want to leave that place so much. I just wanted to just stay there and play with my friends.” The ice skating party marked the end of a busy week back after winter break and the beginning of a new semester.

This is the most amazing article I’ve ever read, and every part of it completely blew me away because the information was truly phenomenal and presented in such a clear, engaging, and thoughtful way that it kept my attention the entire time. Whoever wrote this article is an incredibly talented and amazing person, and their writing skills are outstanding—they know exactly how to explain ideas, connect with the reader, and make the content both interesting and memorable, which is something not every writer can do.

As a member of the MSSC, I think that this year’s Winter party was one of the best party we hosted. I hope we can host events like this every year, and we will arrange an amazing Spring party as well!
Thank you Mrs. Jolly!
