Cafe Benein translates Catholic stewardship into daily sustainability

In this episode of Echo-lution, we visited Cafe Benein, a zero-waste cafe in Daegu run by Catholic nuns, to explore an alternative way of thinking about environmental action. Rather than relying on urgency, guilt, or moral pressure, the cafe grounds sustainability in coexistence and routine.

Through conversation with Sister Rose, the episode examines how faith-based ideas of caretaking translate into every practice that offers a more durable response to the climate crisis than catastrophe-driven narratives.
