The middle and high school Jets closed out season one with an assembly on Nov. 25. The event included rock band performances, announcements of AMIS/KIMEA Honor Band acceptances and acknowledgments of fall sports, from high school volleyball to middle school futsal. Journalism students received acclaim for attending the Nashville convention for the first time, along with the announcement of STEM fair winners. The assembly concluded on a high note with a performance by the illusion dance team and scenes from The Snow Queen presented by the drama club.
Tenth grader Azual Rivera Meza lights up the stage with her confident performance to the beat of “Highlight.” Her energy draws cheer from the audience.
