[Photos] Spring into celebration: Community Festa

The entire community—students, teachers, staff, parents, and special guests—assembled for the second annual Festa on May 24.

This year’s party featured several exciting twists. The National Art Honor Society drew portraits at a caricature booth, and the Parent Teacher Organization rented two photo booths. The High School Student Council introduced an ice block challenge while Ms. Downie sang Korean trot music in a hanbok. Sophomore Christopher Ryu teamed up with his instructor and tap-danced away. Additionally, more shaded seating was available as the celebration took place in May instead of April, like last year.

Packed with fun, music, dancing, and food, the day came to a close at 4:30 after everyone enjoyed their fair share of spring spirit.
