Families poured onto campus for the first Back to School Night since pre-COVID. The event was hosted at DIS on the evening of August 24. This continued tradition had halted for a while due to COVID, but finally, DIS was able to hold an open event for families to come to participate. With positive feedback from parents and students alike, the night was a great success. Mrs. Cameron proudly remarks that over 200 students and parents participated.

Back to School night is a yearly event held to inform families and students about their teachers and curriculum. For some, it was even a chance to be reacquainted with familiar faces. Ms. Katie exclaimed, “I was so excited to be reunited with some of the parents I’m close to! We hugged and jumped with excitement.”

This year’s event ran on wheels with all the new connections and information in the air. All there is left to do is to get the rest of the school year started.
