Bella Park in third grade, Shanvi Cha in second grade, and Lucy Kim in third grade yawn after lunch. They cross their fingers that they won't doze off in their last class of the day.
The Jets kickstarted the first day of a jam-packed Spirit week decked out in their pajamas on Oct. 28. Students arrived at school in comfy clothes, onesies, eye covers, and more to power through the Monday blues.
Leanne Yoon, dubbed as “Lenny” by her close friends, (finally) joins the Journalism class in her junior year as the Editor-in-Chief of the Jets Flyover. She makes up for her short stature with fiery charisma and passion. As an active leader of clubs such as Students Organizing Against Racism, Debate Club and String Orchestra, Leanne often ponders on what else she could bring to her fellow Jets. Off-campus, she shares her perspectives with an international audience in countries ranging from the United Arab Emirates to France. Leanne writes, takes photos, edits articles, and manages the Flyover.
Annie returns for her 3rd year on the Flyover staff as a section editor. As a junior she participates in various sports, extracurriculars, and Lunch Clubs. As an enthusiastic forensics student, she leads Science National Honor Society, MUN Club, Peer Tutoring Club, and Debate Club. In her free time, she enjoys books, TV shows, and shooting hoops with her friends. This year she hopes to share deeper and more investigative stories with the DIS community.
Brian Cho, a beginner broadcast journalist and also a photographer, enters his first foray into video production and yearbook design. Brian has a strong interest in digital design. Additionally, influenced by the reputation of the Yearbook team, he has joined and is currently an active member of the DIS Yearbook team. As the Head of Designer in HOSA and the Historian/Webmaster for NAHS, Brian developed a keen interest in art and design.
A six year veteran in the Flyover, Jessica Woo returns as a senior for her final Jets Flyover year. As an engaged student who loves to read and write, Jessica loves to help other students improve and always attempts to step up as a writer herself. Jessica loves to communicate and delivers informative messages to the DIS community. As much as she adores writing, Jessica deems herself a baseball-holic and attempts to watch every game if possible.

I was so shy because when I was in the elevator, I was wearing pajamas and this stranger saw me in my pajamas. And then I dozed off. And flew away.
