The album’s title GNX stands for the 1987 Buick Grand National Regal Grand National eXperimental and is nicknamed the “The Assassin.” The album’s release day, Nov. 22, also coincides with the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and marks exactly six months and sixteen days since Drake’s release of “The Heart Part 6” near the end of the rap beef which turns avid fans to Lamar’s single 6:16 in LA. Many theorize, with the positive message of GNX, this album is merely the warning shot of what is to come of Lamar’s wrath.
