A STEM-oriented, passion-filled student-researcher at DIS, Matthew returns to the Flyover for another year. Outside school, he immerses himself extensively in biological research — namely synthetic biology and biomedical engineering. As a member of various pre-collegiate STEM organizations, Matthew extends his ardor in academia to community outreach — with hopes of nurturing an informed, diverse generation of aspiring scientists. Beyond scholastic endeavors, he spotlights a plethora of social and academic issues for the Flyover, hoping to bring about a paradigm shift for DIS students.
