From the blooming spring to snowy winter, 2024 enters its last month of the year. To recollect memories of the hectic year, I chose my top 10 songs that drove me through both my highs and lows.
“Lovey Dovey” by BIG Naughty, one of my favorite artists of all time, played on repeat in my head all year with its melancholy but energetic vibes, expressing the two opposing sides of love. With the perfect blend of low and high tones, it zones me out into a world of imagination.
I also want to give a special shout-out to “POWER” by G-DRAGON. After his last album, “무제 (Untitled)”, in 2017, he returned to the stage after a seven-year hiatus due to scandals surrounding other BIGBANG members and false accusations of drug use. The music portrays how his “power” suffers from the fingers of the public, but at the same time, how he breaks through these obstacles through his “power.”
