2024, especially the first half of my junior year, swept me up into a whirlwind of schoolwork, Model United Nations, and sports. For the past few weeks, I’ve gone from one end of South Korea to the other, changing outfits from jerseys to suits to dresses. Despite the hectic pace, music has remained my go-to escape. Whether I’m vibing alone or screaming with friends on bus rides to games or singing along during downtime, these songs have provided the perfect backdrop to my busy life.
"Photograph" by Ed Sheeran speaks to me on a deep level, soothingly reminding me to cherish all the moments in my life, good and bad. The song is a beautiful reminder that photographs freeze time and let us revisit the joy and pain of our experiences, but life moves on. Every time I hear it, it makes me try harder to embrace every moment life throws my way, knowing they all contribute to my journey.
