2024 boasted countless melodies that caught our ears. Among them, individuals from all around the globe streamed K-pop. Although not on the list, “Supernova” by Aespa, “Fate” by G-idle, and “Spot” by Zico featuring Jennie garnered attention from fans all across the world.
Personally, I enjoyed the B-side song to “Supernova” by Aespa, ‘Live my Life”, more. The vocals and the chorus made me fall in love with the song after the first listen. In addition, “Supernatural” by New Jeans, with its perfect blend of English, Korean, and Japanese and addictive choreography topped my list. Lastly, the debut song by K-pop group Illit, “Magnetic”, led the rankings because it served as a song to brighten up my day during AP season, when I was extremely stressed and tired.
