Solah Han returns for another year on the Jets Flyover staff for her 9th grade year. Energized and passionate, she is eager to learn and try out new things. She loves to participate in numerous clubs like Students Organizing Against Racism (SOAR), Model United Nations (MUN), Student Council and a whole lot more. As she begins her freshman year, she is eager to write more amazing news stories for the DIS newspaper, design more graphics, and share her skills while training new staff members.
Leanne Yoon, Editor in Chief
Leanne Yoon, dubbed as “Lenny” by her close friends, enters her fifth and final year on staff as the Editor-in-Chief of the Jets Flyover. She makes up for her petite stature with fiery charisma and overflowing passion. As an active leader of clubs such as Menstruation Station, SOAR, Competitive Debate and String Orchestra, Leanne often ponders on what else she could bring to her fellow Jets. Off-campus, she travels all around the world – from the United Arab Emirates to France to Australia – to voice her opinions to an international audience. Leanne writes, takes photos, edits articles, and manages the Flyover. In her final year, she hopes to leave a lasting legacy in the newsroom.
