One year in kindergarten, five years in elementary, three years in middle, and another four years in high school—our journey at Daegu International School felt like an eternity. But with graduation fast approaching, seniors reflect on lessons learned and memories made. As the class of 2025 prepares to toss their caps, here’s what they want underclassmen to remember.  

Here’s my advice: don’t wait until your senior year to start appreciating everything. I remember always eagerly anticipating days off and counting down the hours until dismissal every afternoon. Now, with just three weeks till graduation, I find myself wishing I had another year left here. I know I’ll miss everything that once felt so routine—from my bus teacher shushing my friends to the rushed scramble to cram for AP Statistics. These are the memories you will look back on, so don’t take them for granted. Slow down and enjoy your high school life while it lasts.
