Sometimes, the dumbest excuses work their magic – whether you fake an emergency or you invent random scenarios. What’s the most ridiculous excuse you’ve ever used to get out of something? Ridiculous excuses might land you in trouble, but at least they gift you unforgettable stories. I use this classic excuse all the time to get out of meetups when I’m not in the mood: I promise my mom I’d help her organize the bookshelf, but every time I try, I end up reading random books for an hour.
