Oftentimes, life forces us into tasks that we would rather get out of, and we create absurd justifications to avoid the blame. Sometimes, the dumbest excuses work their magic – whether you fake an emergency or you invent random scenarios. What’s the most ridiculous excuse you’ve ever used to get out of something? Get ready to laugh, cringe, or even to recall your own ridiculous excuses from the past.

When my mom told me to sleep early but I was working on my homework, she screamed at me. So, I told my mom that I only have to write a sentence but actually, I had to write a whole page.

So, it was this time when I came home late from my friend’s house. My friend and I didn’t keep track of time and I went past my curfew, so my mom asked me why I was late from her home. And I said that we had to do school work together but actually we were just playing and lost track of time.

The most ridiculous excuse that was said before was when I was late to the academy, I made this excuse to my teacher that my horse escaped from the stable and that I had to catch it. Even though I didn’t have a horse, my teacher believed me because my hobby is horseback riding and my teacher knew about that.

In my P.E class, we had a dancing project. But among the members, I was the one who can’t follow the steps and the dance. So as an excuse, I volunteered to become the star dancer so my grades won’t be affected. And because I was the star dancer, during the presentation, I danced with my own simple steps and my group members were good dancers behind me.

The funny thing is that my friends think naturally that i went to a horse-riding competition when I’m absent…even though i was sick the for the whole day 🙂
