Welcome to our first episode of Ready to Teach: 1, 2, 3 ears on me!!!!! Our names are Esther and Honglim. We made our podcast because we wanted to know how DIS teachers become so great and what inspired them to become a teacher in the first place. Today, we are going to interview our middle school English teacher Ms. Nagy.

Esther Kang, in seventh grade, started her first year as a broadcast journalist. She plans to interview teachers about their jobs and find unique stories. Books and sports fill up Esther’s days when she steps out of the podcast studio. On weekends she shops till she drops and listens to pop. Esther plans to excite her audience with in-depth interviews and loads of fun.  
Honglim Jin
Honglim Jin, Broadcast Journalist
Honglim Jin in seventh grade marks his first year as a broadcast journalist. Honglim loves to spend time in the mountains. But his biggest passion will always be fencing, because of the influence of his older brother. In his seven years of experience, he now sets his sights on a true, professional future in the sport. Honglim currently fences on the official Daegu team. Besides foils (the true name of a fencing sword), Honglim loves social studies and math. He started his podcast to learn more things about audio engineering and the lives of his DIS peers.
