Leanne Yoon, Editor in Chief

Leanne Yoon, dubbed as “Lenny” by her close friends, (finally) joins the Journalism class in her junior year as the Editor-in-Chief of the Jets Flyover. She makes up for her short stature with fiery charisma and passion. As an active leader of clubs such as Students Organizing Against Racism, Debate Club and String Orchestra, Leanne often ponders on what else she could bring to her fellow Jets. Off-campus, she shares her perspectives with an international audience in countries ranging from the United Arab Emirates to France. Leanne writes, takes photos, edits articles, and manages the Flyover.

Jenny Lee, a dedicated junior at DIS, joins the yearbook team with excitement this year. Her involvement goes beyond the yearbook, as she continues to create engaging content for Jet Stream. This year, Jenny is particularly eager to attend a variety of events to further develop her photography skills. She also finds joy in dancing with the Illusion Dance Team and playing the flute, both of which enhance her creativity and contribute to her well-rounded approach to her work. With her diverse talents and genuine enthusiasm, Jenny is set to excel in all her creative projects.

Nayoung Kim, Broadcast Journalist

Nayoung Kim, president of Greenpeace, Eco-lution, and Peer Tutoring Club, shares her vivid passion for the environment and contemporary issues to the ear of the school community. Her brand new, popular podcast raises awareness and acts as a call for help to aid the world to become a better place. Also a famous Jet Stream Host, her enthusiasm to engage with the DIS community and spread the news boosts the energy of the school.
