A group of high schoolers registered for a weekend ride to Songdo to gather information about potential colleges. The Korea World University Fair was held at Chadwick International School on Saturday, Aug. 31. Over 50 universities took part in the conference, and about 1,200 students participated in the event. Many engaged in helpful conversations with representatives from institutions worldwide. The venture offered valuable information for future applications. Mrs. Jolly organized the excursion and brought students from grades 10-12.
Heeding advice from the University of Wooster, sophomore Maddox Jolly asks additional questions to the university representative after listening to her description of the college.

1,200 people would’ve been a lot for an event. But from the pictures, I’m glad that the students had fun. This also looks similar to the free giveaway of university things/souvenirs I saw on a table in the hallway of our school.

I think this a great experience for finding future colleges and universities and I also think that these type of events should happen more commonly.
