Hispanic music by artists like Shakira and Mariachi de Tecalitlan brings Latinos together. Take a listen to the playlist below.
Music plays a vital role in culture, and Música Latina stands proudly at the heart of Spanish-speaking countries. To celebrate my own traditions, I compiled a list of Hispanic songs of different genres, from ballads, electronic, oldies and traditional all the way to pop. As Hispanic Heritage Month wraps up, give these five tracks a listen to further appreciate the culture.
Spanish music not only embodies tradition and culture, but also conveys universal emotions. The songs I listed only scratch the surface of música Latina. Take a listen, and you will fall in love with the genre, just as I did.
