Elementary schoolers gathered on the main field under the radiant sun for the Field Day on June 10. Despite the hot weather, all the youngsters enthusiastically participated in individual and cooperative games such as mini golf, races, and four square. Kindergartners, first graders, and second graders competed in their own league, playing musical hoops, hungry hippo, and parachute game. Additionally, Mrs. Gum and several high school students volunteered to face-paint the kids with vibrant colors.
At the end of the day, from kindergarten to fifth graders, they all achieved a sense of accomplishment and victory. The laughter wrapped up the year with amusement, as all of them await for another Field Day in the 25-26 school year.
A second-grade team finishes their relay and drops into their seats, eager to claim victory. Their teamwork and competitive spirit uplifts the atmosphere in Field Day.
