[Photos] Spring Fine Arts Festival delivers a farewell of fashion, music, and creativity

Immersed in vibrant, intricate ceramic designs, students stand in awe. They share observations and reflections on the craftsmanship behind each piece.

Middle and high schoolers captivated the audience in the Jetnasium with creative performances and exhibitions at the spring fine arts festival on May 29. The event began with an upcycling-themed runway show titled “The Bloom” under the theme Secret Garden and led by National Art Honor Society (NAHS) students, followed by a string orchestra performance and concert band performances. Families, faculty, and students came together to end the school year on a high note filled with pride and inspiration.

Michelle Kim, Writer

Michelle Kim returns to the flyover as a staff member on her first year of high school journey. During her free time, she enjoys contemplating coding problems and binge-watching netflix shows. As an avid runner, she aspires to bring great achievements from cross country races to home as well. Michelle desires to showcase her passion for writing by capturing diverse stories happening both within and outside her school community.

Annie Cho, Section Editor

Annie returns for her 3rd year on the Flyover staff as a section editor. As a junior she participates in various sports, extracurriculars, and Lunch Clubs. As an enthusiastic forensics student, she leads Science National Honor Society, MUN Club, Peer Tutoring Club, and Debate Club. In her free time, she enjoys books, TV shows, and shooting hoops with her friends. This year she hopes to share deeper and more investigative stories with the DIS community.

Sophia Bae, Writer and Illustrator

As a writer and illustrator, Sophia spends most of their free time drawing and listening to music. Additionally, their involvement in LOVE club leadership showcases their enthusiasm to foster diversity and inclusivity in the community. They love to explore multiple perspectives on controversial issues, and they aim to raise awareness of them with contributions to the Jets Flyover.

Grace Cho, Broadcast Journalist

Grace Cho devotes herself to the Jets Flyover staff. With her warm spirit, she brings joy to those around her. She indulges in the magic of romance movies and expresses herself creatively through her piano performances. Filled with boundless energy, she hopes to spread positivity throughout the DIS community.
