Daegu Subway Fire Incident

The Daegu Subway Fire Incident Memorial at Jungangno (중앙로) station commemorates the fatalities resulting from a fire that started in an underground subway station 22 years ago. A special commemoration wall was built to help tell the story about the memorial and what happened on February 18, 2003.

Aaron Shin, DIS senior, joins Video Production after a long delay. He first tasted stardom in the 5th grade Jet Stream after-school activity. Around campus, Aaron participates in a plethora of activities, ranging from sports and Model UN to leadership positions in clubs. Outside of school, Aaron enjoys rooting on the Samsung Lions baseball team. His enthusiasm for photography motivated him to start the Yang-ro Won Photo Service Club, and his profound interest in science led him to conduct multiple studies, which earned him honorable recognition. From meticulous research and innovative engineering to creative photography, he always attempts unique endeavors that set him apart. From superhero motion graphics to award winning historical documentaries, his imagination knows no bounds. With his creative mind and top tier photography, Lewis hopes to bring the Jets Flyover to the next level.
