Students and teachers gathered once again at the Jetnasium for the fourth annual TEDx Youth event hosted on March 13. Four middle schoolers, three high school students, and two teachers delivered influential speeches on the theme “Creativity on a Canvas.” The orators covered a wide range of topics, from cultural diversity to philosophical endeavors.
Backstage, each member strived to push this year’s show above the limit. Contributors communicated with the speakers, gave commentary, and prepared for the general stage for over six months. For the first time, with a new advisor to lead the group, the organizers shifted perspective to earning their license earlier in the year.
With more time to focus on guiding the youngest speakers, the speeches elevated the overall event. While the showcase concluded an hour earlier than the predicted time, the stage truly inspired.

It was so inspiring to hear their life, what influenced them throughout their lives. Especially, the fact that they connect to their life to the topic, making the topic more close and personal, was so cool! I can’t wait to try TEDX next year:))
