Family Fun Night brings students and families together for an evening of play and connection

The Middle School Student Council (MSSC) hosted over 50 elementary students and their families at the Family Fun Night on Oct. 4. They enjoyed events such as Dodgeball, A Minute to Win It, Zumba, Parachute, Relay Race, Crazy Soccer, and Obstacle Course. The event offered an opportunity for students to bond with their families and their peers.

Annie Cho, Section Editor

Annie returns for her 3rd year on the Flyover staff as a section editor. As a junior she participates in various sports, extracurriculars, and Lunch Clubs. As an enthusiastic forensics student, she leads Science National Honor Society, MUN Club, Peer Tutoring Club, and Debate Club. In her free time, she enjoys books, TV shows, and shooting hoops with her friends. This year she hopes to share deeper and more investigative stories with the DIS community.

Sunny Oh, Photographer / Designer

Sunny opens another chapter of her life as a photographer and designer on the Jets Flyover staff. With priceless memories and experiences as a yearbook staff member last year, she starts her new journey as the editor-in-chief, aspiring to bring the yearbook to the next level. Sunny loves music, dance, art, and sports, especially volleyball. She contributes her passion for aesthetics to the JetsFlyover and anticipate the future of the program.

Grace Cho, Broadcast Journalist

Grace Cho devotes herself to the Jets Flyover staff. With her warm spirit, she brings joy to those around her. She indulges in the magic of romance movies and expresses herself creatively through her piano performances. Filled with boundless energy, she hopes to spread positivity throughout the DIS community.

Hailey Tzou, Photographer / Designer

As a first-year member of the Jets Flyover staff and a DIS veteran, Hailey knows the ins and outs of school events. She loves every sport including volleyball, basketball, and futsal. Through her previous experiences in winning several SKAC tournaments, she looks forward to taking active pictures. In her free time, Hailey enjoys watching movies, hanging out with her friends, and spending time with her cats. Hoping to bring a positive impact to the team, she takes the role of a photographer, designer, and editor.

Great Job MSSC! I think that we’ve had another amazing event! Seeing the happy faces of the young students, were so heartwarming! Hope that next year we will have another successful Family Fun Night!

I was one of the MSSC staffs working there and I could see so much family bonds! The photos make me feel nostalgic about my childhood.

I think that it would be a lot of fun for the kids just by seeing the photos! It looked like everyone had a lot of fun and I hope MSSC host another Family Fun Night! Go jets
